It can go faster, there's more to be gained in a better tune, better brakes and driver experience.

Only got three rounds in, I don't think anyone was much in the mood after that Escort went into the wall.

Round 1 and 2 are up but I'm not happy with the data sync, in one of them the speedo claps out.

I'll re-do them without the picture in picture which is causing me rendering issues.

I've got a polarising lens on the way for the gopro which should cut down on the reflections off the windscreen for future videos.

RaceRender to render the video. The data was captured by a Race Technology DL1 data logger. Video by GoPro.

Finally finished off the spoiler. It's taken ages to re-glass the ends and fabricate the splitter.



Fabricated a bracket to connect the splitter to the lower brace.

Splitter is made from 6mm marine ply.



Mocking up fitment.





Upperside of splitter is reinforced by glassing over some split electrical conduit.

Entire splitter is coated with fibreglass resin to make it even more waterproof and strengthen it.



I used tee nuts for all the fittings.



Too many hours of work in this. The ends were completely the wrong shape.







Finally looks right.
