Best run for today
13.78 @ 101.6mph 2.2 60 ft. Still very slow take off as I didn't want to just rev it up & dump it & break it "AGAIN!", slight wheel spin & Mild clutch slip.
I reckon with a proper race clutch, alittle bit more track time & a few suspension tweaks there is still a few tenth's in it.

13.7 pass

Fastest Mk1 around in street trim i'd imagine. Definitely the fastest 8v.

Bora did 15.8@87mph with 2.3 60' today.
To be honest its a fair bit slower than I expected
Oh well, will keep the bora for a comfy cruiser and build something better for going fast in.Current: '04 Astra SRI Turbo - EDS IPF Flash, 3" TBE, Quaife LSD
Previously: Bora 4mo, cams, coilovers, tune, exhaust, brembo's etc

For what it is 15.8 is fine! Dont feel bad bro the Bora's are a great car, there is somethign about them that I love! And as you said it is more of a grand tourer than drag car anywaysOriginally posted by Lonewolf1983 View PostBora did 15.8@87mph with 2.3 60' today.

Agree'd!Originally posted by revnit View Postdont mean to jam the thread up but in the case of making things easy to read and understand i think a locked/sticky post should be made with a list of names, cars makes and classes to make it less confusing searching though this post looking at times when other comments are made in between ( can get messy later on) and set it up so you just PM the poster with your time slip and her/she can edit the post
just an idea
If possible, I reckon it would be a good idea to create a sticky with a couple of classes
eg.
top ten of
FWD
AWD
Overall
time, mph, 60ft, car, engine, mods, weight if known, tyres, username
eg.
13.78@101/2.2/76 mk1/1.8L/T3/approx 2200(1000kg)205.55R14 - golfworx
Time slip attatched would also be recommended for eligibility purposes tooLast edited by Oneofthegreats; 23-05-2010, 06:37 PM.

Hell yes!Originally posted by jasn78 View Postok guys posting times up now on first thread if you can list it in golfworx format save me alot of hassle
Thanks Jason!
You may have to go through the thread again to post up all the times already posted so far.
Still reckon a copy of the time slip is needed.
G-Tech , stopwatch or any other times don't count.
Only interested in "actual" 1/4 mile slips.Last edited by Oneofthegreats; 23-05-2010, 09:56 PM.
