No Idea, - My guess would be mid 11's maybe? - it still runs the big brakes & all the camber & circuit suspension.

What do you think it should run? Our GTI did a 12.6 in the manual at more mph.

P.S. on the scales at Eastern Creek, it still tops 1530kg's without the back seat & tyre - but that was ~ 1/2 a tank of fuel, so shes no lightweight!

I think your on the money. Its a seriously quick time in anyones books. The MPH will give you a good idea of its potential with perfect shift points

Running Hankook 'R' compunds and race fuel yes?

I'm not sure, would street tyres with a softer sidewall be better? Maybe even drag radials. I don't think anyone has done any research on AWD cars (probably the EVO / WRX boys), but those Hankook's are so stiff that - 10PSI doesn't seem to have any effect.

We just got some Performo 105 ELF fuel to try, we have only run the WRF so far, so there is more room in there, but damn, its expensive!

I'll say it now . I think mid 11s out of a stock turbo without NOS is possible on a Golf R . With some weight reduction , lighter wheels etc some race gas it can be done . Now to see who will get there first !

Seeing that the 1/4 mile times section is getting so big and popular.... Should we maybe start breaking it up into 4 wheel drive, front wheel drive, 4 cyclinder, 6 cyclinder, street legal or keep it the way it is??????
I really dont care, but what do you guys think?
This is probably my favourite thread on the forum and cant believe how the times have dropped in the last past months.
