Long time Since something happened, which means care free motoring right?
Still need to do rear brake pads, and New tyres soon, and maybe remove the HPA Puck as Im over the NVH it has.
Might try Revo or go back to the Stock bush with a APR insert/Arm, with the 034 Upper insert.
Always on the look out for other mods, but tbh, Think this will be my lot on power levels, Not interested in doing an Intercooler or a real tune. JB4 is powerfully enough for the street.
Might book some time on the Dyno for a JB4 tune up...
Getting a Service done today, so at the weekend sorted out a few odd jobs.
- Replaced the HPA puck with a Revo puck.
- Quick Brake bleed
- Removed JB4 for service
- Checked airbox and air filter
Next on the list will be Tyres and Rear brakes (pads and Rotors most prob)
Mod life.... Stock, HPA Mk7 V1, HPA Mk6, HPA Mk7 V2, Revo (in Car) Very very small amount of nvh (Revo ftw)
How are you finding the Revo pendulum (dogbone) mount after some time with it?
Cheers, Gav.
Hey mate,
Yea it's great on the nvh front, still get wheel hop, but my tyres are old, hard and at the wear indicators...
It's a nice product but I've seen a few rear like the V1 HPA, if I was to do it all again, I'd stay stick with and insert or the 034 rubber replacement bush

Skoda RS230
I would suggest stickier new tyres would give way to even more axle hop given it'll be harder to transfer the power to the wheels.
Yea that link is what I'm talking about.
Yea I'm due for tyres, looking around tbh.
The FK510 might be the go

Will 245/35-19s fit with our 19s? From memory going +20 on the width (from 225/35-19) puts as at +14 on the dia, which is legal. Assuming it clears guards and liners with the Extreme 19s...
