Got a torque arm insert installed. Some vibration through the cabin in reverse, though this will go away once it settles in. Hopefully it'll reduce the axle tramping somewhat. Link for those instrested Volkswagen, Audi, BMW |Repair, Service, and Performance in Raleigh Cary NC

will whiteline release an anti lift kit like previous models? (WALK) They were a pretty popular mod on mk2 octavias and golfs iirc.

I'd imagine so. Its on the cards along with Superpro LCAs and a RSB. Should tighten the car up nicely.

Haven't given it the beans yet to find out , though shifts do seem smoother, especially downshifts under braking. Will report once it's bedded in nicely but from all accounts it does a good job of removing some wheel hop.

I found those dog bone inserts too annoying - both when reversing and when in stop/start traffic

I got hold of the softest HPA insert and then modified it to reduce vibrations
I needed to make the cut outs a little wider and it would be perfect

I have residual current in the a3 but only when ignition is on. No residual on RS. Full led bulb set about $20. Remember led's require miniscule current to glow. If you dont start your car for 6 months it may be an issue but there are other active systema that would use more power.

The only bulb I have had to put resistors on is the boot on the a3. No others.

Bought a Sony CCD Reverse camera kit today.

Now for the fun of installing and getting it working with RGB conversion etc. I will be referencing Kamold's write up extensively.

How do they look? Are they 'boy racer' white-blue, or warm enough to look like an OEM fitment?

Do they fade in/out ok? I realise a LED will never completely fade to off, but does is it still relatively smooth?

These I am really happy with. They are whiter than OEM. OEM is a bit yellow. They fade out completely to off.

The ones I have in the A3 have a blue tinge such that my son calls them the blue lights. They also have latent glow unless switched off with the switch or lock the doors after exiting. These I would not recommend. I got them form a different supplier though.

The ones in the above link are really good IMHO. Brighter than OEM, whiter than OEM, no errors and they do fade smoothly completely to off.

It was all interior lights too, including the two in the boot. The only thing I would have liked is a bit brighter in the boot (they are brighter than stock). The supa skoda ones for the boot look good in that regard, but I couldnt justify the cost.

The puddle light bulbs may have been a tad short so had to squash the retainer clips inwards a bit to hold the bulb securely. Havent had an issue though.

Awesome thanks for the feedback. Just put my order through. Determined not to do anything tacky to this car, as I like it so much as it is stock!
