My ledperf LED's finally arrived, along with the instructions in French Those that installed the LedPerf kit, which lights did you have to use the resistors on?

None for me but others are reporting that some leds show faint residual light.

Nope, though when the headlights are on i get a faint light from the front overhead interior lights, those two little dots in between the main drivers and passengers light. When the headlights and the car is off they turn off.

I'm thinking of fitting the resistors, but a few people have mentioned about the potential risk with the temperature of the resistors when in the circuit - thoughts?

They don't need to dissipate much power to stop the led lighting. I wouldn't be too worried about heat from them.

VCDS. I have a Rosstech cable, so as simple as setting volume from 100% to 0%. (See the VCDS thread under Golf VII section)
