Thx all for the welcome, 02/15 build, 04/15 complied. I grabbed it without hesitation, approved today, pick up in Thursday.Originally posted by woofy View PostIt would be a 2014 build, it was on the showroom floor so unlikely most physically there weren't built last year seeing as we are only just now getting 2015 built cars arriving.

Hi Nick, yep that's the website I've been using to track my order. A search for the VIN I've been provided gives me a result of 'no records found'. A wildcard search indicates that there are no records for cars with similar serial numbers also show no cars on boats. My guess is either they are having delivery issues in Europe because it should have been booked already. Dealer reckons it'll get here first week of July but they are as hamstrung as they don't anymore than I do...Originally posted by nickd View Post

Hi I've been told my car was built 24th April with an ETA of first week of July. It looks like my car was built the week after yours so the ETA does correlate. Even then the car will be 3 months late when compared to the delivery date stipulated in the contract.Originally posted by gadget007a View PostWhen was yours built? Mine was built on 17th April and today it is on the Faust docked in Germany due for delivery in Melbourne 26th june

I kept getting no results until it was loaded onto the ship, then all details were available even the date it arrived at the terminal.

Mine (take 2) is meant to be on the same boat... I got the VIN today and it shows up in the tracking as "Received at Terminal" (you enter the VIN in the "Cargo ID" field in case that's not what you're doing).Originally posted by renesis View PostHi Nick, yep that's the website I've been using to track my order. The Faust only arrives in Melbourne on the 26th. Offloading/Compliance takes a few days, and dealer pre-delivery takes a few more, so first week of July is probably is probably right for both.Originally posted by renesis View PostHi I've been told my car was built 24th April with an ETA of first week of July. Thanks for the link gadget!!! It's kind of put my mind at ease so I'll probably be spamming the tracking website on those dates. It looks like there will be two boats leaving shortly that will stop by Melbourne. But if it is still stranded in Europe then it won't get here till mid late July...Originally posted by gadget007a View Postsounds like you missed the same ship as mine here is the schedule for the nest shipments (hope the link works)

Hi Nick, I checked the tracking website this morning and it is still showing as no records found. I did a wild card search and there appears to be no Australian spec VRS wagons with a serial of 23xxxx on the way to Australia.Originally posted by nickd View PostThe Faust only arrives in Melbourne on the 26th. As gadget said maybe mine had just missed the boat and it's just waiting for transport to Australia.

Hmm I think you got someones cancelled order that the dealer kept in the system, very lucky as it would have only just hit the floor. That would have been ordered around late Aug/Sept by my calculations.Originally posted by Pappyparra View PostThx all for the welcome, 02/15 build, 04/15 complied. For those interested, I ordered my RS on 10/2, was built around 20/3, disembarked 'Figaro' in Port Kembla 12/5 and will be delivered this Friday 22/5 - so a little under 3.5 months from order to drive!
In my experience, it took around 1 to 1.5 weeks before the vehicle appeared on the tracking website.
The wait can be exhausting but definitely worth it!
Happy tracking!!GOLF R Stage 2+

You could be right, but I'm loving that someone screwed up and I got it at 1.2% . They must have seriously ****ed up something on mine then, because it was ordered on 1/11, then built the same day as yours, and shipped on the same boat.Originally posted by masev View PostFor those interested, I ordered my RS on 10/2, was built around 20/3, disembarked 'Figaro' in Port Kembla 12/5 and will be delivered this Friday 22/5 - so a little under 3.5 months from order to drive!
