Hope things get sorted out quickly mate, nothing like a wait at the end of a WAIT!

Sigh. After hearing that Skoda cars all removed from the showroom.... Called the dealer today. Vw aus has seized all the cars, and apparently stripped the dealership for vw and Skoda off bb. Have called vw and apparently someone is 'on the case' but no one can tell me what's happening, or when I will get my car. They have assured me that it won't be sold to another person, but aside from that they can't tell me when I will get it, or even if it will be through bb Skoda. If I ever get a call from them, I think I'm going to demand some sort of compensation. This is ridiculous, and it was made worse by vw seizing cars and revoking dealership.

It's been 12 days since the ship docked. I don't want it left in the **** weather we have been having, a very real chance of hail with the crazy storms we have had.....

I just want the bloody car! I can only imagine how pissed off you were at a major cock up!

I have my car booked in for next week as well. They are replacing driver side headlight (ordered from Germany 4 weeks ago) and infotainment system (dead speaker problem, also ordered from Germany).

We'll see how it goes.

Yeah bugger mate, and that means you will have to deal with Prestige, who are a bunch of **$**%$%. The issue I have now is a direct result of Prestige

Yeah, bought the last car from prestige skoda and vowed never to go back. They drilled 4 self tappers into the metal tailgate to attach the number plates. Twice, once for std, once for euro plates. Didn't even ask, or offer holders. Just need to make sure they don't touch the car. Tbh, take off dealer delivery, I'll do it myself. Transport the car to my house, I'll sort the rest

What a bummer, I've been waiting for a while to get the issue sorted. I quite like the service I received from Mansfield, not to mention only 10 minutes drive from my place.

Gave them a ring as well, they are calling clients one day before the service to advise that they are no longer trading.

I posted on fb on skoda au pagw about my orfer f-up way back. Skoda/VW Au HQ got in touch with me and looked after me. Worth a try? Or start your own online petition [emoji12] ?

I'll see what happens tomorrow.
I really just want them to transport the car somewhere I can collect it, give me an invoice for not more than I had, and let me but the car. Tbh, if they took $1000 off, I'd do the pre delivery myself (remove transport protection, chocks, check brakes, tyres etc).

Just want the invoice and a time and place to collect it this week. Based on today's events, I can't see this week being a possibility.

Are they actually legally allowed to do that though (i.e. not do the pre-delivery)? ... I have no idea about these things...

I really hope you get your car soon GTR. Just so you know, after the BB delays, I ended up getting my car a bit over 2 weeks after the ship docked and sorting out the thing with VW. If you have the time, I'd just keep pestering them, at least that way they might prioritise you. I don't know if the situation is actually worse or better now than when I went through it though. I don't want to rub it in but gee, I'm glad I got mine when I did, I can't imagine seeing too many more new Skodas on Brisbane southside too soon. Hopefully they get bought by someone and they continue to sell!
