Folks I was looking to buy the vRS wagon with the 1.2% finance but in the end due to some reasons have bought something else this week. While going through the search process, I came across dealers with in-stock vRS with 1.2% finance. PM me with your contact details if you are looking for a in-stock vRS with the 1.2% loan. the reason for change of mind was that the dealer bungled up. They told me that the car would be delivered last week and I kept waiting for it. But no news. So I went and bought GT220. I was without car for more than 10 days and it was getting inconvenient. Gt220 is not as refined as vRS and has a slight hesitation from low down speed. But still plenty of grunt once it gets moving.

The 220 is a great driving car, and was on my list early in the car search. But both it and the vRS were just a little too expensive. I also found the 220's rear seat to be very tight (tighter than the Clio's), and with two kids space is important.

It's also worth noting the fine print relating to Skoda's 1.2% finance and that it only applies to vehicles with build dates prior to 2015 and there's also zero stock in the ACT - was @ Lennock today. Think the offer runs until 30 June 2015.

It would be a 2014 build, it was on the showroom floor so unlikely most physically there weren't built last year seeing as we are only just now getting 2015 built cars arriving.

Sounds to me like buying a car off the floor is the way to go.

So it's been 3 weeks now and was wishing the tracking website would be updated over the weekend. Had a look and it's still not showing up on the tracking website. Dealer seemed confident that it would still get here in 10 weeks...
