Quick up date from me......Well I sold my Golf in early Dec privately and subsequently was left car-less.
Dealership management were playing hardball and didnt want to 'loan' me any car. Being December, it was crap timing as I needed to visit my folks in Sydney with the kids etc. In the end, the dealer 'sold' me a Lancer at the trade-in price and they will 'buy' it back off me when my Octavia arrives.
Its a $#it car but its enabled me to get around in the interim.
I will call my dealer next week and get an update on my order as I had a provisional build week of week 3 (in Dec it was week 4), so any day now.....SOLD 2006 VW Golf Comfortline 1.9TDI | DSG | Metallic Grey | Stock
