      Contacted my local dealer about getting info on the new model. It seems they are heading down to Melbourne on the 28th of November for the new car rollout. Hopefully we will get some pricing structures soon after.

          My memory could be wrong but I thought the elegance spec octy had memory seats just not the RS. The elegance always had a few things the RS didn't.

            When I bought my old RS, the two options I couldn't get at any price were electric seats and the dipping left-hand mirror on reverse.

              Elegance = Luxury Spec
              vRS = Sporty Spec

              As a result, more "convenience" things r available/std on the elegance spec models.
              The vRS is based on the Ambiente model.

                No electric seats on my Elegance but they might have been an option if you chose leather as well?

                  Yes they were in the leather option. It doesn't quite work as you mentioned dark shadow, the RS has a lot of things stock the elegance couldn't have that were convenience. There was probably another reason they didn't have the electric seats, most likely as they would have to make two variants of the sportier RS seats. Same reason I bet that the manual RS didn't have steering wheel controls.

                      No they weren't, that was heated seats. The electric drivers seat was a stand alone option (meaning you could get it without leather). I would have expected it with leather to be honest. Too right about the manual RS and audio controls! Every time I move from my Golf Sportline to my parents Octy RS I always find myself annoyed that I have to reach all the way to the dash. Oh how lazy I've become...

                        Not on the RS - the only way to get electric seats was to option up to leather seats. I tried spec'ing it without leather (when I did my factory order) - no go.
                        Heated seats r std with both alcantra & leather.

                          I've got leather and manual seats. So electric is an option above that...

                            correct.
                            its an option only available with the leather seat option.

                              Skoda has been posting teaser pics on their facebook page, they're brochure pics though so who knows if you we get them in the spec shown.

                              One shows a normal model with Xenon + DRL and Park assist, next is the rear of a tdi (same car?) with rear park and halogen rear lights.

                                Seems to be a lack of information about the Mk.III "Scout" version. The only photos I can find are "mock ups".
