One question to ask. Will the new Octavia vRS or even the current 2014 models have or come with DAB+? Digital Radio?????? I bl00dy hope so!

Yeah its a bit of a let down that it doesn't have DAB+, but the Golf 7 doesn't have it here either in Aus afaik.

I have DAB in my other car, the reception is hopeless in Australia to be honest so probably they are doing you a favour.

I love the new octy...

One of the best features/options that I have seen available in any manufacturer is the solar powered sunroof from skokda... When parking the car out in the sun, it powers the fan to decrease the temp inside the car to around a max of 25 degrees... If I decide to go for the new octy when its upgrade time (which its looking like will be the case) I need to have this option... One of my biggest hates is getting into a boiling hot car...

Mazda had that in the jelly bean 929 in the early '90s.

It's been used a few times, the new MGs had it as well. I even remember buying a device that you put in the window of the car. Yet to see any actually make a dent in the summer heat inside a car we get here, A/C usually does better at that. Or tilting the sunroof works well to allow the hot air to vent.

I had a no tint, or very light green factory 82 Meteor Ghia with no A/C and tried anything and everything. It did bugger all so I took it back to Kmart and got my money back.

I'm afraid you'll have to buy a Superb sedan then with an optional sunroof! If you bought an Octy you'd have to leave the sunroof open or Global Open the windows from the key.
