I have a similar dog bone insert to firm up the motor - keen to see what it does if it causes intrusive cabin noise
Don't have sticky tires
I'm running 8" wide (compared to 7.5" stock)
Not loosing traction via controlled use of the gas peddle is what I'm doing to avoid the problem
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels
These mounts are for the connection between the transmission and subframe so doubt they do much for axle tramp.
Sticky tyres may not solve the problem.
Higher spring rates is usually the solution. For FWD more caster/anti-lift helps too.
And turn the TC off and use your right foot.
Also the so called launch control only works in S and manual with the TC off, not D.

I now have the VWR springs and the supaloy control arms which have more caster
These seem to have eliminated the axle tramp (more aggressive testing pending)

I have now tried launch control and deliberately used too much throttle trying to promote axle tramp
With the supaloy control arms there is no axle tramp at all
The wheels just smoothly spin, traction control kicks in, grip re-established smoothly without any bang
I'm rather pleased with this outcome...

I've got the supaloys and when I rev over 2-2500 all it does is either false neutral or burn rubber
ps. Martin I'm uber keen to hear your APR exhaust ... does it gurgle??
Interesting - I did get a false neutral once and was perplexed by it
On the outside it does have a faint burble
On the inside the idle is a little louder but nothing cool or interesting
The gas noises at wide open throttle are strange and add to the sensation of speed
It's only the downpipe from the turbo to middle of the car - from there backwards it's stock
(The down pipe does have a high flow catalyst)
