Can I get all your thoughts on these wheels please?
Wow cbay!!
Thanks for posting this pic up!!
Great job...
I am so tempted...
Thoughts everyone??
would it be a strange diluting of the brands..?
Cheers, i've got a nice layered photoshop file set up now where I can change the wheels, roof rails to black/silver, rear window tint, also lower/raise height. It's originally a 118TSI/103TDI so be aware the front bumper is a bit different. i use it for my own dreaming/scheming, if you want some more mock ups let me know what wheels etc because we have the same colour car.
Btw that image i posted is with some lowering maybe 20-30mm

Yes. I agree re the centre caps...
I wonder if the original ones would fit in Detroits?
Next time you are passing an RS that is stationery...can you please see if they look the same size as your detroit ones mate?
I will keep an eye out too...
No dramas can do.. had a quick search online, seems the VW centre caps on Detroits are listed as 56mm sized although someone gave even more precise measurements on the golfmk6 forum. I saw a few variations on Skoda caps, 55mm in one spot, while someone was selling 58mm caps and gel stickers on a Skoda forum.. unsure if 1 or 2mm makes a difference there - for a sticker I'd say no, for a cap yes.. so if the Skoda caps you have didn't fit it seems like it would be easy enough to acquire a decent sticker to deal with it (or I'm sure someone sells different sized Skoda branded caps?).

On my Audi wheels, I just removed the Audi logo off the cap & stuck on some cheap (4 for $6) Skoda badges from ebay. Looks fine from more than a metre away
