I wonder just how many Octavia RS have been imported / sold in Australia???

I would love to know exactly how many RS octavias (all specs / options / models) have actually been sold in Aust since the first model in 2007...

They are just so rare, that it makes me wonder...
You know, allowing for ones that are now wrecked (sadly), how many were sold, and how many remain on the roads.

I reckon more than 50% of all Octavia's sold.

Me too. Way over I reckon.

I probably see 10 octavia's a week.... I would say 7 of them are RS's

Just depends where you are.... driving around the northern suburbs I see plenty... also in gosford where I live.

Not all that many regular octy's though.

In my travels further afield, I see plenty of non-rs octy's though.

I can help you track down four of them:

- one of my brothers has a brand new vRS Octy
- another brother has a new Octy TDI
- a guy a work has a vRS Octy
- another guy at work has a Octy (think its a 90TSI)

Only see one or two....
and we have a dealership out here too...that should be spreading the awareness....

Well apart from one other blue one near me, there is a that charcoal wagon I mentioned that was filling up with E10 the other day...

I think the other models just blend in with the traffic. The vRS is more in your face with its big wheels and bright DLRL s.

But I would still love to know the ACTUAL numbers of cars sold and the breakdown of models from a reliable source.

Of course they do but you asked the wrong question. You should have said, "Will VW Aust or Skoda release those figures?"

The answer to that is not unless it suits them to do it.

I hardly ever see 103/118's. Its always either vRS, 77/90 or Scout.
Usually 77/90, though.

Originally most were RS, but I see a fair mix these days. Also see more Scouts than before. I'm seeing Superbs pop up all over the place too.
