Holy crap, 187kW and its "only" done 85,000km...
I bought my vRS 23/12/11 and its at 46,000km!

My brother works for Skoda here in Newcastle and ive just asked him to suss out if there are any manual wagon VRS Octy's around for the $15k-16k mark. Mind you, ive only seen about 4-5 pre-facelift Octy's in my life, so theres not too many getting around.

Pre-facelift Octy vRS = rare
Manual Octy vRS = rare
Octy vRS for under $20k = you'll be hard pressed

Anyway, if he finds anything even remotely suitable ill let you know.

How about a red manual vRS wagon. 158,000km. Pre-facelift 08/2008 model. The 147kw petrol turbo model. Sold and serviced by Newcastle Skoda (not sure if that means its a one owner car or not - ill try and find out).

The customer is looking to upgrade with a new one, but wants to try and sell it privately rather than trade it in. If you are interested, then ill get the owners details from my brother and PM you. Might work out for both of you.....he doesn't have to worry about the hassle (and expense) of advertising it, and you get to snap up a car without the worry of someone else getting it before you.

I know beggars can't be choosers but probably keener on something with fewer km's than that. I've got the luxury of borrowing a family members car while they are overseas for 2 months in a few weeks so I can probably wait until something turns up. It's more the impatience I'm battling!!!
