Funny I was looking at trading my 2007 manual yellow RS wagon for a Yeti a few months ago and decided against it due to the $7500 trade in price I was offered. As I still owe $16000 the figures didn't work terribly well. Mine is higher km with 120000 on the clock.

those Kms are not too bad for the year!
I had 110,000 kms on my MY10 Tiguan when I just sold it. (3 years)

The only thing I don't like about the RS manuals is the shifter looks a bit cheap.. Like it came out of a lancer..

Still keeping my eyes peeled but am borrowing a family members Jetta as they are overseas till the end of February so in no rush at the moment.

You will be extra-ordinarily lucky if you find a low km manual RS, as the most likely reason an owner will be selling, is they are forced to, not by choice.

I will soon have a TDI manual RS wagon, but it will be brand new, and I will have waited 5 months for it to be built.

Question 1: Are manual RS wagons rare? - Yes
Question 2, will I sell mine - No.

i'm happy with mine i ordered mine back in jun 2010. waited 5 months for it from factory.
did u include any options with ur order?
when did u order? i was under the impression they (skoda) were no longer taking new orders in preparation for the new mk3 octavia.

I ordered end of Oct 2012.
Dealer said I needed to order by end of Nov. Manufacturing run in Jan '13. So it will be a true MY13.
Optioned factory leather, blue paint, media interface and factory tint. The 30GB Hdd player, rear paring sensors and red stitching are no cost option now. Didnt want xenons, front sensors or sun roof. I thought seriously about the no cost black 18" neptunes, but ended up staying with silver.

Off topic but is anyone going for 0% finance on an RS? What do the actual repayments work out to be factoring in fees and increase on interest rate after first year etc?

Do Tempe Tyres do a non OEM version of the Neptunes in Black I wonder??

I have aftermarket Golf R wheels and they are much lighter

The Golf R wheels in 19" are the other option I was looking at for my 2012 RS wagon!!
Did you get them from Tempe Tyres?
Any hassles with fitment etc?

Would you be offended if I fitted the same to my RS?
