All the internal documentation we have stipulates that all Corporate and Government buyers are exempt but the add on the main skoda website does not have this stipulation. Maybe something has changed since the bulletin we received on the 12th of December or someone has made a very expensive mistake??!!

If you are referring to the current $2000 worth of freebies the dealer is wrong.
The $2000 deal applies to vehicles delivered to the customer between the beginning of December 09 and February 28 2010 regardless of when the vehicle was ordered. You should go back to your dealer and tell them to check again and come back with the correct answer this time.

It is how the website reads but for me to give you a definitive or comment on a program set out by head office as just a consultant would probably get me into some pretty hairy territory. Also what I consider to be the program would hold little weight; it really comes down to what HQ confirms. Speak to Skoda directly on (02) 9695 6000 and see, as I said in earlier posts we were told specifically that all corporate and government clients were excluded from the campaign and a part from the ad on the website (which may be an oversight) I haven’t heard anything else to the contrary.

Well I think they've had numerous people calling this number. For starters its VAG not Skoda customer service, and then the girl went on to mention I would have to go back to the dealer to ask about the promo since they don't deal with any ACCC enquiries? All I asked was can you put me through to someone in regards to the $2000 skoda promo...

I discretely mentioned to the dealer this week that I heard I may be entitled to the $2000 promo since I picked my car up end of Dec. He was under the impression it orders taken dec - feb, but in saying that he's looking into this because apparently there have been other people enquiring aswell...

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm wondering how you went with this? I just signed on the dotted line for a race blue TSI Wagon with DSG and leather. Delivery is slated for early May.

The dealer told me this pack was for cars delivered by the end of February. But that said, he was from the volkswagen side of the business.

I am interested though, because hey, its free stuff right, and if I'm entitled to it, I should kick up some fuss, right? Plus, I wouldn't mind the bluetooth, but I found it hard to stomach the $680 fee.

According to the wording as it stands now the vehicle must be purchased and delivered between 12 December 2009 and 28 February 2010 so i suspect that you will be out of luck unless you can sweet talk your dealer somehow.

BTW. I also wondered about the cost of the Bluetooth but having used mine (a Fiscon unit because I have a manual) imo it's worth every cent. It is so much better than any other Bluetooth connection I have ever used it's laughable to call the other Bluetooth.

That is what I was looking at last night. See, the wording is different for the two offers.

The $2k in free options says "purchased before 28th Feb" and the free stamp duty offer says "purchased and delivered before 28th Feb".

To me that says its a deliberate effort to word them differently. I'll call the dealer today at lunch and press them on the issue (while still in my cooling off period). However, they could say "while stocks last" and stocks are out, so I don't hold much hope.

And that is why I got when I just called the dealer. The "stocks" were cars in stock, not the accessories. Oh well Still very happy with the deal I got and the car is just fantastic.

I also test drove a superb and come away deeply impressed. Anyone buying a large car would have rocks in their heads to not at least look at it. I was comparing it to a VE Calais I drove last year and the Holden is not even on the same field.

Delivery date ATM is 05 May. Dealer is going to call around see if anything is available in a different colour.
