About to order an S3 Sedan tomorrow, Phantom Black P Pack and Sunroof.
Question about the Performance Pack. I seem to reading differeing reports, the wheels are changed to the 5 twin spoke star design... is it 18" or 19"...
There are 2 performance pack options, one with the 19" Twin Spokes and the other with 19" V-Spokes.
My Glacier White sedan landed at Port Kembla on Wednesday - the wait is nearly over! (It has the V-spokes).
Thanks buddy. U must be excited! U'll most likely receive it in the next week or so. Put up pics when u get it.
I went with the 19's 5 twin-spoke-Star. Which did u get?

Are there any caveats to this car? I read that previous 2.0 TFSI engines by the VAG group tended to eat through some oil, this being a new engine design/redesign? Anyone notice any thing similar? Not even a problem really, but yea any advice or tips would be welcome.
Cheers boys and girls,
(Anyone who ordered a car with similar spec, if you don't mind shoot me a pm about what kind of price I can realistically expect to be able to negotiate to would be REALLY appreciated)
Nice choice. The performance pack comes with 19's which will finish the car off real nicely. I think most people will order the twin spoke but it would be good to see some pics with the V spoke on some s3s.

This is a car thats already built and is on transport. I think a dealer allocation that hasn't been picked up yet? So I am not sure what performance pack it is....

On an S3 sedan with s-performance pack, they are indeed 19" rims, and you have the choice of 5 arm "star" vs 5 arm "V" spoke rims.

Hey guys, so the one that already had a build date already got sold... ended up having to do a factory order. Similar specs
Phantom Black, Perf Pack with V spokes like above picture and sunroof... now just gotta get that build date.. before I can count down for shipping.
Anybody who has questions about prices and stuff just pm me. I got a pretty good deal, me and a mate went in and we bought 2 at the same time. Saying either we both buy or neither does and we go interstate. That seemed to get the dealer principal's attention.

Well, you can add my name to the list; I've ordered a new S3 Sedan, in Sepang Blue, with a large handful of options.
My father has an S3 Sportback on order and did some great negotiating with his dealer in Sydney on my behalf; I was fully expecting to buy from interstate. But when it came time to negotiate, my local dealership was prepared to match the deal and I managed an excellent discount in the end, so I'm happy. I've not yet come to terms with the prospect of selling my much-adored GTI though; letting it go will be tough.
I've requested a 2015 build, so I'll be waiting quite some time for my car; anticipating April 2015 at this stage. Therefore there will be no further S3 discussion amongst my friends and family for several months to come, lest I go completely insane.
