Yep, have done that before. On the bike I'm actually using a new Android app called RadioDrive that reads out alerts inbetween songs according to parameters you set (got speakers in my helmet). Could theoretically use it in car as well.

Just ordered S3 sedan in brilliant red with tinted windows for my wife. It's a 2015 build so the 210kw version and should arrive in late Feb. We could only test drive the Sportback version as all 3 places I called didn't have the sedan to look at and my wife stated my Mk7 golf r better looking than hatch but she only wants a sedan. (no other sedans come close!) Must be a price jump recently as they initially priced S3 with tint to 74K and last time I checked online was 70k with tint. Negotiated hard and got very good price well under 70k and get 3 years free servicing corporate too.Comment

Best case is 10 weeks, but on average it's more like 12-14 weeks from factory to delivery. Adam, I think it's a MY15 build not built in 2015. Only option we got was tinted windows. I think it's pretty loaded with standard features. Performance pack didn't really call us as wanted the electric seats.
I can see why so popular as nearest sedan rival the AMG and that's almost 30k more.Comment

my cancelled order is currently trying to avoid ebola off the western coast of africa aboard toscana. i don't think they'll have any issue selling it. sepang, perf pack (5 spoke wheel option), assist pack.
pretty easy decision in the end - for some ridiculous reason i logged onto car configurator last week in the hope that there was miraculously a 6sp manual option. and here we are!Comment

Was notified that my S3 will be landing in Melbourne on the 19th of November, and then not long after that on transportation headed to SA.
Was metallic paint, performance pack and sunroof.
It is onboard the porgy.
Was build week 39, looking at week 47 arrival to aus. 8 weeks from build to landing if that gives others who are waiting a rough estimate.Comment
