Well, it's been a while in the coming, but hopefully sometime next month we'll have our new diesel wagon in hand.
Looking forward to years of good driving and good economy (low CO2 emissions) out of what seems to be a great little wagon.
And my wife is very much looking forward to updating in style from our trusty old Mazda Metro.

Good morning everybody ....thought I'd introduce myself ..my name is SEB ... am from the lower north shore in Sydney .Have just ordered a mk vi candy white gti. Dsg with the following additions ...aftermarket 18" wheels , reverse camera , Bluetooth , iPod interface ( free of charge ) and upgrade premium sound . the idea of paying the stupid price for the leather seats and /or satnav was enough to decline LOL .....have been flicking thru your posts in the last few days have been really informative and helpful ..you all seem to be great guys and really knowledgable so will be awesome when my new baby arrives in mid sep ..Have already spoke to the APR guys over at Mona vale and have decided that I will get the stage I upgrade ...CAI kit and full turbo exhaust ..What do u guys think ? Please let us know your thoughts cause it is the first vw I have had and the smallest car I have bought ( always had 4wd's ) !!! Looking forward to much chatter with u guys ...cheers !!!

Hi Paul here. 28yo from northside of Brisbane. Replaced my old 2001 Magna VRX 2001 for a golf. Wanted a car that could match the performance of the big 6 but is more economical.

Purchased a GOLF 118TSi DSG in Pearlescent black for 32K drive away. Only had the car for a week with 600kms on the clock but so far so good. Cruising down to Byron this week so will most likely rack up my first 1000kms in the first week.

Overall so far I am very happy with the car. At present I am have been trying to break up city and rural driving at all speeds pushing the car hard but not flogging it. Hopefully this will ensure I do not have oil leaks problems in the future.

To be honest I had my heart set on the Gti but could not wait the required 6 months as I purchased the car through my works novated lease program. The 118 TSi was sitting on the floor in the colour I wanted so I was lucky enough to pick up the car at a great price with no delay.

I am new to the VW world having just put a GTI on order... Changing over from a 1999 s2000.

Looks like its going to be a 5-6 month wait though... soooo many sleepless nights!

I just thought I should introduce myself, I’m a 25 yr old male living in the beautiful city of Sydney and I have just purchased a MKVI Red Golf GTi with sunroof, leather, sat nav & metallic paint options.

I got a great deal on this vehicle and I am loving every minute of driving it... Seriously every time I walk out to go and drive my car I have a grin from ear to ear cheesy I know!! But it’s the truth, definitely the best thing I have ever purchased in my life so far...
