Hi All, My name is Jon and Im living Sydney. Ive been driving my MKV GTI for 2 years now and my fingers/bum are getting itchy. Im keen to pimp my ride so Im here to get as much advice as possible.

Hi all,

Picked up a new manual TDI Tiguan in September and think it's awesome. Picked it over a Diesel Xtrail and am very happy with the choice. Although the electric handbrake is sending me mental!

I know its not the answer you want to hear, but selling your car and getting the GTI would be the cheapest option. Modding many 4C N/A Cars is a bit of a non event. Thats the reason I sold my 2003 Impreza.

Love everything about the car. No problems with anything so far.

Hi,
new to this forum.
I have just ordered a MK6 GTI Manual, red.
Unfortunately I have to wait 3 months.

Very hard negotiating a deal, I was told on more than 1 occasion 'it is this dealers policy not to discount the GTI'. Got a good deal anyway with a corporate discount.

Looking forward to seeing what is going on the world of VW.

Our latest VW

I'm new to this forum but had VW's for years. Started in 1973 with a 1500 Beetle in which I won the 1974 Tasmanian B Grade Rally Championship, then later on a 1600 Kombi, a 1300 Beetle, more recently a 1995 Golf 2 litre GL and after 14 happy years and 185000kms have just traded it on a 2006 MkV GTi DSG and sunroof. WOW!!!! What a feisty and capable vehicle this one is! Have joined up to learn about all this new technology. Given the last two models are only 11 years apart the advances are amazing. I hope to learn a bit from you guys, and contribute where I can...
