  • NSW Finally making a post!

    Hi everyone,

Finally decided to make an account and contribute instead of lurking around reading the posts. Hopefully I wont have to be posting about all my future misfortunes with the car.

I've had my 2015 Mk7 Manual Golf R since late 2022. Still completely stock apart from the usual VCDS tweaks, bent 19s due to Sydney's shocking roads and a Water Pump replacement 2 months after getting the car (luckily covered under dealer warranty), things have been smooth sailing.

Looking to start fixing up some niggles that I have, tuning the car for a bit more fun.

Hi and welcome. Nice choice with a manual Mk7 Golf R....not too many manuals around.

You might need to look at changing your wheels to an 18" size so you get not only a smoother side but the taller sidewall will give you a better chance of surviving those potholes without damaging your rims or tyres.
