I have been driving VWs since 1993 and have never broken one. How/what do people do to fcuk them up. It's beyond me

Seeing that I had very little to do this morning (baby and wife asleep, son at kindy) I decided to have a dry run putting the GTI on the scales.
No Driver:
With Driver ie my fat ass:
On the scales:
So Golf GTI 07 4 door with stock suspension, no driver, nearly empty fuel tank and 32psi in the tyres is 3163lbs or 1434kg
with a 62.9% front, 36.9% rear weight distribution.
