Was a good meet guys; great to see everyone who was able to made it! The Stirling wasn't a bad spot for it either given the weather.

20yrs ago I might of.....but we didnt have chrome 20's either....and my slammed aircooled vw would have to have a rest to cool down lol

Some nice ideas there.

I'd suggest we stick to a daytime cruise this time, owing to a desire to keep a relatively consistent schedule, but we could definitely organise the odd evening run (and there are quite a few evening cruises and meets that happen as part of EuroSA, SAHH and other groups on Facebook, which we could tie in with).

I'd be in for a nice coast drive and/or BBQ. We could start up at Semaphore and end down at Normanville, for example. We did a similar cruise in June last year, starting at Brighton Beach and ending up at at Normanville, although that involved quite a few hills roads as well to get the average speed up somewhat. If we stuck to the coast it'd likely make for a much slower, more leisurely drive.

OK even though I won't be driving (hoping to hitch a lift ) here's a suggested route:

Good route, although did we want to mix it up and start up at Semaphore this time? Aaron suggested a coast-hugging route potentially, although we may need to take the Southern Expressway if we want to get to Normanville before dark.

Expressway would make for some awesome rolling shots if someone brings a passenger and a camera.

I too thought we were gonna cling to the coastline.

Can I suggest that we start at outer harbour? That way we could organise a few pics without the parking issues

Well I'd suggest a twisty road on the way there and then an expressway rolling photo shoot on the way back. That way it keeps everyone happy. I only suggested Taylor Blend as it's fairly central(ish) for everyone especially those in the hills and out North.

Also trying to keep the drive time to around 2 hours plus a couple of stops along the way will land us in Normanville around 1pm.

An outer harbour start may be a bit out of the way for the hills guys....
