errrrmahhhhgerrrrrrrd, that happy laps was AWESOME!!!

The new car was soo gooooood on the track. It finally feels like a proper warm going hot hatchback. Very fun indeed!

I hope I didn't hold too many people up, I braked a bit on the straight to let some you guys through to help out.

My brakes literally exploded onto my wheels though haha.

The first 10 minutes were great, I am still in the garage messing with mine. WTF I put a new fuel pump and filter in, water injection oil changes on time. Why have you failed me now?????

Seems to be MAF related as the TCS light is coming on and there's a signal too high fault code.

Oh and thanks Clay, you do a great job of organising these events.

Well that has got to be one of the best Happy Laps i have been in.
Everyone was well behaved, everyone i encountered left room to overtake and gave you a chance to get past when you wanted to.

I hope that we continue with the good manners and fun times in 2013.

P.S Rhys, you may want to look at getting some ceramic pads (Hawk etc)
P.P.S Gav, hope you can sort it out quickly, those unambiguous faults are the worst.

That was great fun, thanks for organising guys. My brand new Pilot Sports are looking a bit sad though, and man do I need to replace the stock intercooler on my XR5....hopeless in this warmer weather.

Well i got some good news and bad footage wise, camera on the front went blurry then fogged up...stupid bitch of a thing. I have no idea why it went blurry but i got a little and i will upload it to my youtube channel. The rear camera, the cheap one worked good still need to fix the mount. I got good footage of a abarth up my clapper , could of got closer...lol
Anyway i will post back when i finish uploading, hope youtube anti shake can fix the video.

Amen to that. That was certainly the best run I've had, everyone circulating at a good pace, plenty of room left/provided to those passing. What a blast.

I have footage from the gopro, will work out how to use youtube and upload. Will also work out how to load the video from iphone CMS laptimer, it crashes on the phone when I try load it...

I thought you did great. I thought you would hold people up coming out of the chicane in the accord euro not having a turbo for low down torque & power but your car flew out of it no problems. I was surprised at how composed it was in the bends too.

Here's the last ~5mins. Has some of Clay, Rhys, the JCW Mini and Integra Type R. The camera angle leaves some room for improvement, sorry. My dad was with me and had been trying to get an App on his phone to link with the camera, but couldn't get it working so had to wing it.

I'll upload the first bit in the morning, not as much passing in it, but more so sticking with the front lot of cars. I did 20 laps, quickest of 1:13.26, a few in the higher 1:13's, though most around the 1:15/16. I started changing my line on the last hairpin (up the hill) and was gaining about half a second for that sector/corner alone. Was sticking a little wider on entry, so car was middle of the road about 1/3 through the corner.

it basically had no torque below 5000rpm and I kept it at 2nd and 3rd gear to engage VTEC most of the time to keep it moving

car felt great with new brakes & swaybars on!

really happy about those new brake pads high pitch noise are gone after the happy laps, so today was a happy happy laps :p
