Best lakeside happy laps yet!
Good variety of cars too and everyone was very nice on the track. I'm feeling a lot more confident with my car now and can push just as hard here as at QR now. I think I'm starting to find good lines at Lakeside as well which helps.

I noticed that my brakes were making a horrible high pitch squeal when I drove off after the event and also a shudder whenever I turned but it's all good now. I don't think the left foot braking helped but I did think I went around corners better by left-foot braking. I'm pretty sure I need some new and better brakes for the next one.

Did anyone know the photographer sitting at the end of the straight section just past Dunlop bridge before heading into the Eastern loop, he'd have so many good shots and I'd love to see them?

Your GTI sounded so sick as it overtook me on the straight!

The mk2 went ok, first time even partially pushing it, so just need to build up my familiarity with the car and confidence on the track.

Still had fun!

My dad was there, green and yellow stripe shirt with a big tripod as well (he was under that umbrella thing for most of it). I had a quick look through a couple and they are great.

That's the one, Hadn't been to lakeside for a while, the cones were new to me, not a bad idea, people used to overtake there and was VERY sketchy.

Hmmm looks like the internet bandwidth will take a beating. Total of 11.2GB footage taken today. I'll go through the pictures thoroughly and choose the best ones to upload. Otherwise it will probably take till the end of the month to upload haha.


Dad will be happy to hear all the good comments about his photography.

Yeh, I do that.
I just meant all the photos, video and onboards combined before conversion. Currently uploading a spectator video from Dad, 7%complete. This could take a while haha.
