Very well said, and you will find that most of the VWWC other than the normal regulars that attend our own events/gtgs and cruises here are much the same. Very disappointing to say the least without being nasty!

Unfortunately we missed out this year as Saturday Night we had an engagement party which finished real late, and Saturday Day we sold Lora's Polo to follow with having to drop it off on the Sunday! We popped around to the show briefly with hope and expectation to return later in the afternoon however we were at the dealership for too long. HOWEVER! We did walk out with a new MK6 GTI in TR.

Hopefully be at the next one or we will be coming down for DOVW in one of the 2 cars or at least flying down!

Awesome pics from everyones rides, disappointed that i missed out!
          What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

          • Really disappointed that I couldn't get there this year!! I had a course for work that meant I had to be in Wodonga on Sunday. Hopefully next year.

              • Pierre, Steve and RYan you bloke are legit so dont stress! Its all the other people who talk hype and then stay at home on the day being the first person to ask for pictures when you only live 40mins from the event.

But enough of the negatives! More pics and bring on German Autofest I say!

                  • Awesome write ups!

Who would've known when I started lurking 10 months ago when I joined up on VWW that I would be going on a road trip with you boys.
As Ryan said I came out of nowhere haha.
Had a really fun time last weekend. A lot of laughs and good times with a bunch of new mates.
Its impossible not to have fun when drinking up and talking about VWs!
Cheers to the guys that organised and all the other guys for making it fun.

Hopefully I make it to GAF!

                        • GAF is always on the cards, VIC's DOVW is also on for me this year although I'm still trying to get to the SA DOVW show too... as for the West Coast shows... I don't know that I can drive that one but I keep considering flying over for one of them

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

                          • Hahaha!! Nice write up Woody. It was a ripper weekend and was great to meet all the diehards and to put a few faces to the names. Looking forward to GAF.

The convoy is always a big talking point of a trip. Alot of laughs and stories come of it. Sorry it took me two days to work out who you were. You and Todd were talking at Wakefield and it didn't click, then saw you again on the Sunday At the show. It finally clicked when you mentioned your car. Sad isn't it that I know people by which car they drive!! lol.
