                    Nice pics john!

                    Friday:
The first long journey in the vr6 cabby. Still just as nice as the 4 door vr6 on the long journeys, but even better with air ride Swallows a little more fuel but I would assume because of of the extra weight! Was an easy journey with plenty of plastic dip picking :p

Got to my gfs parents... smashed a massive steak and fell asleep :p

                    Saturday:
Up early and smashed some food for a big day! Met up with the boys at the car wash (after being told they were in the other side if town, thanks ryan :p) and picked some more plastic Dip off, flicked some switches and hung out with some drunk people :p Headed off to lunch to smash an orgalo burger with the boys (and girl).

Filled up with snif, went to the accommodation with the boys to fondle Susie, make inappropriate noise through her bits and tell Jarred to take his disguise off.

Managed to book a table for 28 at bill and tonis for dinner and had an epic parma! Sat in a 3.0lt Vr and rattled my nuts to sleep. Had a few to many sherbets and managed to get a lift home through the cross from a random mk5 driver (thanks Mischa!).

                    Sunday:
A good day always starts with maccas breaky, integral DC5's,Susie hanging out of someones roof and a few sombreros.

Rocked into the show with the mexicans crankuming barbie girl in the manbrolayframe (one day) and flicking switches. Rode monkey bikes, tightened strut tops, listen to some sweet beats from a massive system!

All in all a fantastic weekend, josh you missed out. LOL

                      • Thought I had replied to this thread?

Was a great day, met many new faces, including the Mexicans. Still not sure who some of you were. Haha!

I'm now inspired to do a few mods to the car even though I'm trying to sell it, it looked so boring in stock form sitting between two modded R32's.

Will throw a few photos up once I have processed them.

The only negative was having to drive through the mud to get into the show n shine area, kinda annoyng getting mud on your car after spending hours cleaning it. What was wrong with the paved driveway some of us used to exit at the end of the day?

                          • Skip to the bottom for the short version haha.

Tuesday - dropped mk3 off for inspection, coil wire came loose on the drive there, so the mechanic couldn't start the car. Ended up doing the inspection on wednesday. Passed blue slip with no worries at all and drove it home. Installed coils, wheels, removed rear spolier and started packing tools for what was going to be its first drive in 5 over months. Thursday - purchased rego and gave her a wash.

Friday - Got home at 4:30, jumped in the car and headed to Linc's house. Met Raph and his mk1 at the BP in Watson at 5:30 and started driving. Trip went amazing with no hiccups at all. Even the mk1 kept up. Was stoked to be back driving a lowered car haha. Arrived at the accommodation at about 8:30-9 to find a carpark full of dubs but no drivers. Turns out they were down at the RSL. We joined up with them and lucky me my eftpos card wouldnt work in the atm. FREE BEER FTW! Didn't take enough advantage of the free beer and ended up double park towards the end of the night. Poor effort.

Saturday - Woke up at about 9am, a good couple of hours before everyone else staying in Ryde. Was starving so went for a wander down into Ryde park and found a sweet little cafe in the middle of the park. One by one dubbers slowly made there way down to the cafe until we had every table and chair lined up in a row and big breakfasts on the way! Stayed at that cafe till pretty well after lunch time, I'm pretty sure the wait staff were hating on us but YOLO. lol.

Got back in the cars and drove to find a carwash. Followed BFLAT around aimlessly for a couple of hours doing illegal u-turns and causing havoc all over Sydney, until we realised everyone was already at a self wash carwash haha. Took over the carwash until the owner told us to leave with the facial expression he was wearing. Headed across town to Ogalo's for some burgers, hot chicks in fiesta's pumping music, and leb's in lancers doing sick FWD skids.

Cleaned ourselves up and piled into cars and made our way to the city for dinner and Bill and Toni's. Ordered a Parma with a side of Spag Bol. Walked outside and lost myself over Dev's 3.0L VR6. Went for a hike to buy some ice cream and sat around causing more trouble. Walked back to the cars, BFLAT, devin, tod and Rob decided to hit up a multi story carpark so figured I'd go along. Shotgunned the 3.0L VR6 for the drive. Got the car park, devin asked who wanted to drive. I replied before he even finished talking. Drove about 50 metres, in first gear. Biggest grin on my face lol. Headed back to the accomm to finish the drinks we had.

Sunday - Everyone up and ready to go, cruised to maccas with about 10 vw's. It was pretty rad. Had the usual hotcakes and a bacon and egg Mcmuffin. Ignition switch started playing up so couldnt start my car for about 10 minutes, got er started though and proceeded to drive into the show. Bottomed out on all the speedbumps which was fun. Show was cool, had about 10 mk3's all lined up. Audi 80 VR6 Turbo, Ray's A3, Shooit's vento amongst others made me happy! Left around 3 with about 6 cars, got a phone call just before passing goulburn that the show winning mk2 has broken down ahead of us, Pulled over and got the tools out and see what the problem was. Managed to get it started by holding the battery earth in a certain spot. It wouldn't start any other way, so the driver stayed behind while we drove home and Aaron got the car trailer to go pick him up.

Short version - Drunk beer, drove cars, ate out, scraped, scrubbed my sidwalls to nothing, got home in one piece haha.
