Out of interest, does anyone advise doing an oil change after this? I know we are not going all out but, assuming it will be a hot day and we will be fanging it, is it a good idea?

In any event, I am doing mine as the car will be 6 mths circa 5,000km by then so all good (already booked in for the following Monday!)

You wont need to do any oil change. You will be fine. If you pamper a car too much it will turn into a girl and break.

Youre only on the track for max 30 mins if you dont come off to give the car a breather....

That said, in a street car, the track can be pretty punishing. My last decent non helmet track day in my old BA GT had the power steering boiling over, the brakes gone, and the tyres like bluetack after 10 decent laps!
