UPDATE- Oxenford Show

Hi Guys
We went to showground today to check it out, all good for low cars

Best entry exit route is via Highway EXIT 57, Hope Island rd- Tamborine-Oxenford road. we went both ways using exit 57 & Exit 60.
Exit 60 has nasty big road raised speed ramps on way to show, hence advise use EXIT 57 off highway.





I shall post map of showground in the next couple of days showing roughly were we shall be with in the grounds.

THANK YOU GUYS, COREY, JACOB, MATT, ALEX & JAMES for all the help today with the Marqui,s was fun in the wind, LOL, but we did it.
The good news is the organizers have told us we can erect the Marquis on the Saturday, they will have security guards on site through the night to watch over the grounds, as others will also set up that day.
So if we can get some help about midday next Saturday that would be very much appreciated.

To get there im going to need new tyres (one of them has worn through the belts in a certain point thanks to an incident on the highway, so wont be driving it there like that) and to fix the cooling in the next week whilst working full time, but im pretty confident it will at least make an appearance, albeit not looking anything like I was hoping it would.

What time will we have to be there? Have a big night planned saturday so not too keen to be leaving here at like 4am

Entrants are supposed to be in by 9am, we are getting there early to set up and organize parking. If you do get there a bit later they will make allowances.

Bad news. Was really looking forward to this, got new tyres on and gave it a quick polish and fixed some little things up to get it looking presentble... however late last night it met a tough fence at a decent and is sitting in the tow yard waiting to be assessed. I'm incredibly thankful we weren't hurt, if the car had done half a turn more/less its likely my girlfriend or myself wouldn't be around anymore. Hoping for the best for the car, but expecting the worse :S
