All you Brisbanites (or further northerners) who are attending, please feel free to meet up at the QUT sports fields Kelvin Grove (Sports Ln) at around 0630 and we'll cruise down together, would be great to get more than 2 >.<

FINAL ENTRANT TOTAL 52,

PER- ENTRY HAS NOW CLOSED

All up there should be 60 VW together

I am extremely happy with the final number, thank you to everyone that entered for showing your support and "making a stand for the VW brand"

I have spoken to the organizers of the show and given him our final list.

I should have the entry Numbers by the end of the week, they are issuing stickers for windscreens which I will post as soon as I have them.

I have been told, tip- get there by 7am because the traffic will start to get really heavy getting into show, they will have two or three cues on entry for the pre-paid and entry on the day, to speed things up.(remember approx: 500 cars)

Once you have been admitted you will be directed to the VW section, where you will be shown where to park, hopefully all will be organized with my helpers on the day,who will direct you to your spot, if a bit late your spot will be there for you in order of models, be patient and help us organize you We want to have the best organized display of the day

The Marquis should be big enough for us to sit under and provide shade, for the day.( Don't forget to bring a chair, we will have a couple of spares) We also have 8 VW Flags & poles to put up.





HELP WANTED:- We want to do a test run of setting up the Marquis, before the big day, so that we know the size (to give to organizers) and so that we can get it up on the day with out problems.

If anyone could volunteer to come along this Saturday 20th,afternoon for about an hour, we would appreciate it.
Apparently it takes 5 people to put it up, we will provide afternoon tea,( drinks, cold & hot, cake & cookies ) please let us know if you can spare a bit of time to help, we are in Upper Coomera. thanks

Great not a problem at all be nice to have a collection of VR6's here:0, we may not let you have it back, LOL, thanks for your help on the day that will be awesome. Just let us know when your coming and we will make sure the puppy is put away

My thoughts were Mid afternoon around 3pm for test run with Marquis, but we are easy, we will be home all day, what ever suits those that want to help, as long as we get it up & down before dark.

DonJuan - will you be at the showground for 6.30 am, the more help the better, very much appreciated ( thank us when the day is over hehehe) we are doing our best to make it a good day besides this is team effort, couldn't do it with out your support
