Hey guys do you still need memto get a 6mx3m marquee for the day? Also, there will be a ton of traffic getting anywhere near the place that morning judging by last years traffic

I think we will be allocated an area near some trees, in which case we may not need the big one, can I let you know next week,?? that's when they will let me know

Yes, unfortunately the only entrance into the show is Oberon Way, we must be in by 9am, we shall be there nice and early to set up.
There is another cruise coming down from Brisbane I shall find out the details at the VWDC meeting tomorrow night and add details to this thread.

I'm also probably going to be in need of a razor to remove some stickers at the end of the day... the airlines for some reason have a problem with my carrying things like that and the rental place probably wants the stickers off the car

No worries, we always bring a couple of extra chairs.
I'll get Tony to pack some stanley blades in his cleaning kit
Will you really have an Audi, if so fill in an entry I will get you parking with us just have to be at the end of the VW cars, Jmac is bringing an Audi so I can put you both together, hows that, hate it if you came all this way then couldn't get a park. or parked Miles away in side streets, besides you are a member LOL

Thank you that will be great, we will most probably get there between 6am & 6.30 before all the traffic builds up, with 5oo+ cars entered it will be a busy showground.
we are sooo excited too, all the months of organizing and now its only just over two weeks away, woo hooo

Just hope all the final things Tony is doing to my Lucy come together before the show- stressing.

I shall be handing out and posting Entry cards to display on windscreens, to hopefully get us in the gate quicker on the day,( as there will be lots of cars entering the show at the gate).
We shall do what ever we can to make sure our VW section is as well organized as possible :S

Aaron I have a glass razor that I'll bring down with me. I used it to remove the tape that was holding up my window when the Regulator crapped out. If you need anything else just let me know.
Razz I'll come down early no hassles, Was thinking of doing an early morning cruize for those of you who want to come down and help. Was thinking of 0630 meet at BP Yatala or Macca's Springwood if you are keen. That way we can get in early and set stuff up.

Thank you , all done, you will be surprised approx half the cars are stock, so really not a problem, it's about numbers and the VW history from beginning till now, hence making a stand for the VW brand, its also about meeting and getting to know each other and having a fun day, we all have one big thing in common VW look forward to seeing you there.
