I'm not exactly proficient in the art of dyno reading, so can someone tell me whether this is smooth or not? What should I be aiming for? Etc.
Also, what's the lower line about?
I'd imagine from that graph at around 140km/h your car will seem a bit choppy to drive, do you experience this? With power dropping off and then picking up again?

Bflat, that chart looks normal. Newer ECU platforms such as on the latest GTI and Mk5 Golf GTI onwards are more advanced and have very fine resolution control over the engine so the minor wavyness is greatly reduced, but in terms of real life driving, it would be impossible to "feel" this choppy-ness.
