If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

My first GAF today, and it was a nice drive down. Was wearing a woolly jacket getting ready for the cold but was greeted with a beautiful sunny sky and some unexpected warmth.

Good to meet up with old faces and new ones, missed a few at the show though.

I'll post up my pics soon.

Nice pics Snowy. Seeing that Porsche GT1 was a bit of a surprise! Did anyone find out what the stroy was with that car, was it here on show courtesy of the Porsche Museum in Germany or something???

And that black Speedster was as close to perfection as classic motoring gets.

Apologies from myself for such a crap job at meeting the VWW crew.

We kept getting stuck talking to people at the other end of the show. We started to head back to the VW area but thought we'd grab a bite to eat first at the Library. Then we noticed a few VW guys were leaving. I guess that would have been after the judging. It was good to do that early, I spose, to allow interstaters more time to get home if they chose.

I believe Porsche Australia brought that in just for the show. They also brought it in for some Bathurst thing either earlier this year or late last year. It drove on the track then. The car has been at Gulson's Porsche for a few weeks.

Thanks mate. Wow, so it's been at Gulsons for all that time ... I need to get out more, haha. I only work about 2 minutes drive from there!

I didn't get to meet you Lima but I was told the grey Mk1 on BBS RMs was yours. If it was wet around the area where you parked, it was cos I left a puddle of drool!

Yeah, that's my Mk1. It's a such a fun car to drive and a great contrast to my S3. But in a very good way. It really brings the experience back to the pure joy of driving.

                    Cheers
                    Liam

Had a great day, if a bit short due to our lateness.
Missed a lot of people and the judging.
Some of the old Mercs and Porsches were incredible.
VWs were looking pretty good too.
Good to meet some new Faces, you Canberra Boys are mental.
Highlight for me was the fang through the hills.
