It was a prity good weekend, it was great to catch up and meet a few new people.
I have to say the highlight for me appart from the people and the larfs was the awsome weather, i got sun burnt because i couldnt stay out of the sun, i missed it so much. Coming back to melbourne everyone was like "where did you get that? i want some". The show also gave me heeps of motivation to finish at least one of my box's!
The worst part was that Rocket didnt attend and the drive back, the last 200km seemed to go forever.

I took the recently acquired Seat Cordoba for a run from Sydney down to Canberra early on Sunday morning, arriving just on 10 am. GAF was great as others have said.

As well as the VW's, Audis, Mercs, Porsches and BMW's there was some great rare make cars on display, Borgwards, DKW's, Trabant and a Messerschmitt.

I'd come prepared for the Canberra cold so the hot sun and high UV had me leaving just after 12 noon, as I had no hat.

Exiting the venue I saw a nice greenish Scirocco entering, the driver gave me a wave, was that you golfloon?

Also pleased with way the Seat performed, no drama's at all, sat on 110 kph all the way on Hume and Federal Highways.

@macca - I personally have had a bad rep with Lennock.

                              Any reasoning?

Gerald Slaven wouldn't even pass my details on.
