Cheers all was a good day. It really was the day of Volkswagen. My bonnet still wont open, thought i fixed it with a bit of wd40 but no its still rooted. And now my engines not running right and is bucking when you try and put your foot down or most of the time whilst driving. Man cars love me.

Did anyone take any pictures of SALLY56, the two-tone Beetle? That was the car that impressed my wife the most.

It transpired that my wife knows one of the judges, his daughter and my daughter were at school together up in Kalamunda. Should be worth a few bonus point if ever I decide to display the TDI.

BDS, that's a mighty fine Bora you have there, in fact all of the VWWatercooled cars that were present were beautifully turned out. You guys must have been up late the previous night washing and waxing.

There was a Pirelli 3-door Golf that had the most unusual seat fabric pattern that I've ever seen. I can see the attraction for the 3-door, they do look the business.

I spoke briefly to Golf Balls, but since I don't know anyone else, I kept pretty much to myself, other than chatting to the owner of a dark blue Caddy Maxi Life.
