Official Event details as follows:

2010 Shannons Day of the Volkswagen
The Shannons Day of the Volkswagen is the biggest show of the year in the WA Volkswagen Calendar. Each year it is held on the first Sunday in December - for 2010 that is the 5th December.

The event is open to both members and non-members, to show their VW's or to come along and have a look. It is not restricted to VW branded vehicles, as all vehicles belonging to the VW family (Karmann, Audi, and Skoda to name a few) are welcome!

The 2010 Shannons Day of the Volkswagen will be held at G O Edwards Reserve with gates opening from 9.00am and the show being from 10.00am to 3.00pm on the day. Vehicle entry is $10, while the public can come have a look for free. There will be a Show and Shine, a new vehicle display, a swap meet and a show bag for the first 100 cars through the gate. The day will include a raffle, rocker cover racing, kids activities and refreshments - a coffee van, sausage sizzle, and ice cream van.

Other note need give Joe buzz get my haldex fitted when back Perth in couple weeks. Had my KW var 3 & haldex for a month not fitted them yet, travels China been pain spent my money had planned for break upgrade.....

As part of promoting the Day of The Volkswagen on 5th December this year, Ray has sent a ‘press release’ out to mainstream and local newspapers and has received a request from the ‘Examiner Newspapers - Victoria Park and Gosnells’ for a story and photos on the 2010 Shannons Day of the Volkswagen. They have asked for Tuesday/Wednesday this week coming – 12th & 13th. I know some will be at work, but others of you may not and this is FREE publicity.



Time and place are yet to be confirmed, but can you let me know by reply email or mobile if you are available with your car/s on either of both of these two days and the times? It would be good to get both air-cooled and water-cooled representatives if possible.
