Is it ok to turn up on the day? And what time are you all starting off? Just don't feel like waiting forever and getting shy of just having a stock gti.
my first dyno day I had a stock polo gti so don't worry! It gives you a good base point if you're looking at modifying in the future and seeing what gains you achieved.
This may be a dumb to ask, but:
- will the guys operating the dyno know how to disconnect the wire they need to on the Haldex to make the Tiguan a front wheel drive only car for testing purposes (as the Haldex 4 on the Tig apparently does not play nice with an AWD dyno due to the fact that it starts with a 50:50 split between front and rear and then shifts to a 90:10 between front and back dynamically - thanks to Sharkie and his extensive experience with this for pointing it out)
- will there be a Micro-CAN VCDS/Vagcom there to clear the error codes once the Haldex has been connected up again?

Gen 4 haldex will be fine on the mainline dyno - Todd knows how to run them, so don't worry about that, he recently did a dozen new TTS's & S3's for us.
Thanks pierre, seb and court... another great day! and thanks for bumping me up a few spots too!
I was really pleased with my Jetta Tdi pulling 120kw @ the wheels, makes me wonder how VW rate their engines as the +20-25% suggests 145-150 flywheel internetz.
had a great day
thanks to all who attended
thanx pierre for getting the day running and to lora for her wonderful organisation skills!
very special thanx to those who waited paitiantly and allowed us to swap a few spots for those in a hurry
a turn up of 33 is a great effort and preeny dude your a legend driving all that way!

thanks again everyone
I had a good day , was interesting to see a wider variety of cars this time around . I think in the future we will encourage air cooled cars to enter .
Im curious to ask the tuner (they know who they are) who fitted the Seat Ibiza 2l engine to the mk2 gti with a massive cam that didnt even let the car idle properly , how they tuned the car ??? . The a/f ratio's were off the scale running near 16:1 at WOT . I had my teeth clenched just waiting for a rod to pop out . It made 10kws at the wheels less than my Seat with the same motor .
Congrats to Floody who made a 30kw+ atws difference from stock to his Polo for less than $1k . True bang for buck winner there !
Finally found out what Fuzions power restriction was as well . This car has some serious potential now . Fuzion can fill you in later .
Next one will be back at Mainline probably sometime around late Oct early Nov .
