Unfortunately K04 does not fit the new TSI motors (Tiguan and Mk6 GTI) ..... otherwise I'd have 1 already ....
Stg 3 is the way to go Simon .... no need for a fuel pump & injectors on the TSIs .... only DP and bigger intercooler ....
EDIT and yes, stock GTIs (Mk5) should pull mid 120s .... if not, its not stock ....

AWE do a modified k04 to suit the TSI but I realise thats the wrong three letters to get your attention
Yeah ... I know about the AWE kit .... and it is as you say a modified K04 ... essentially they hacked the exhaust manifold bit to make it fit (and none of the piping as in oil and water fit without modification).... not what I'm interested in. When VAG release a KO4 type TSI engine in the future I'd be looking at that ....
and BTW, I had more NON-APR kit on my GTI than otherwise ....

will be interesting to see what the future holds for the TSI engine.
Hopefully VW will skip any hi performance development of it and focus on the 5 cyl turbo
What a great day.. Didn't really know most of you but i hope you enjoyed Bruno and My cooking! Hahaha.
20:1 AFR is what my Caddy had. Hehe. That's dangerous for a petrol engine, but they really aren't working that hard to melt down from one pull... (Sorry, but its true!)
I may have only got 84kw, but i got 270nm, so cop that, fags! haha.
I don't mind the drive actually... Except for Pennant Hills Road..
It was some damn fine bbqing Preen.
I was a little dissappointed with my result and had to rush off but it was a great day.
Thanks to Fuzion and co for organising as usual!
I'd be more concerned about that red Mk5 GTI with multiple full boost runs at greater than 20:1 AFR. I did walk away from that one LOL. Damn strong motors.
That car has a full rebuilt motor with forged internals! Wouldnt try it on a stock block lol!!
