I'm thinking about having us all meet at about 10-11 am in Esk (it's in the Brisbane Valley) and a roughly midway point for those in Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. We to could then drive along the Esk-Hampton road (a very nice scenic road with some bends and curves) which brings us to the Hwy north of Toowoomba. We could have lunch somewhere around there (the Meringandan Pub has the most amazing food. You will rave about it for weeks), on to Toowoomba to Picnic Point (a lookout on the edge of the Range) for some good views and back along the Hwy towards Brisbane. People can head home from there as they desire. We'll be sure to get some photo sessions in also.
Does this scenario work for everyone? The 26th is not far away.

There are countless other drives that we could do, but this is the one I'd like to try first.

Who can come? Unless there is objection from the majority, Let's do it!

Ok Ok! i'll get the keyboard out from behind the computer and add that i was in b4 it was to be. And will most probably be arriving with kills vr6, G60 jay in his corrado and i'll def be there in my mk1 16v, and we shall have a fun safe cruise that has about 30 years of history from the mk 1 to the 5 so photo's of this day is a must how about getting in contact with VW magazine Austalia maybe they would be interested in tagging along, prob to much i know but was just a thought.

I've yet to receive my first VW Magazine in the mail. Does anyone know who we'd contact? A more likely bet is that we take heaps of photos and send a little "blurb" about our day with them to the Mag. They'll take it from there if they want to.

I hope to do a "dry run" of the course we'll be taking, just to check it all out. I'll also book a table for the Sunday lunch. The place is usually very popular.

I'll bring along a good digital camera (everyone else bring yours too) and a video camera as well.
