Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD Next Brisbane Cruise - January 4th

    Hi All,

    Been thinking about the next Brisbane cruise and I've come up with this idea. Meet up at Milton and head out to Somerset Dam, now Wivenhoe for a BBQ, through Mt Nebo/Mt Glorious and surrounding countryside. Will require cooperation from a few members to run the BBQ. Proposed route is below;

    Route:

    Total Distance: ~80km
    Date: Sunday 4th January 2009
    Meeting Point: Outside Milton McDonald's (to avoid any parking trouble) - point "A" below
    Departure Time: 9am
    Meeting Time: From 8:30am

    Set your GPS to cnr Black Street and Granzella Street and you won't have any problems finding us.

      Health permitting ... I'll be there. 4th or 11th at the latest for me. Any later and it's poison time at the fun factory.

              Could even look at a week day run before most of us go back to work? In that week after new years day?

              Either way I'm up for it.

                  Which date in January is suitable? 4th, 11th or 18th?

                  (can't add a poll to the first post unless you can Dave??)

                          Cheers Dave. Would you mind adding an 'any' option to the poll?
