Golf 8 non-GTI/R mods
Hi all,
Anyone have any mods for the non-GTI/R 8 sorted yet?
Got a base model wagon that I'm doing some gentle things on (my mother's car) but there seems to be sfa out there/available.
So far have put my stock 7.5R Spielberg wheels on it and have had a JB4 arrive... -
Polo GTI AE (2022) Stock Dyno Run
Has anyone else done a dyno run in their Polo GTI (AW or AE) in Australia (no OPF, 147KW model).
Mine is stock and supposedly running 132.9KW at the wheels + 423NM of torque. The power figure seems right to me but the torque seems substantially higher than the quoted 320NM?

77TSI Polo rim upgrade sizes
Apologies if this info is out here but I've been searching the forums (and every where else) for the past few days to no avail. I'm trying to find what rims will fit with stock suspension. Osram Night Breaker H7-LED
Anyone tried these yet? Since supernovalighting are out of stock of the 7.5 led headlight assemblies, these seem to be the next best thing. Aftermarket Golf wheels
I have a new mk8 gti and not really a fan of the oem wheels it came with. Would be interested to see examples of others who have changed their stock wheels for after market ones. Thanks in advance. FYI my car is moonstone grey. I’m thinking black wheels would suit best. -

Pete here. Live in QLD. Don't drive a VW any more. Unfortunately the one I had was too much trouble. I do have some nice alloy wheels left over, as I put the stock ones back on before selling the car.

4motion 204ps dyno figures
Hi,
just got a 2022 4motion 450 transporter tuned and the figures seem a touch low.
Stock dyno run shows around 95KW at the wheels. After a tune 110KW. Considering stock power figures from VW at the engine is 150kw the numbers seem quite low. (150kw - 25percent drive train loss = 112kw...Last edited by 63rk1n; 04-09-2022, 12:08 PM. -

So the driver side exhaust tip has fallen off and need a replacement. VW dont seem to have any in stock so after a used pair. Im hoping some of you may have upgraded your exhausts on your wagons.

Stage 1 6C and clutch issues
Advice for those seeking Stage 1 on the 6C.
I have just tuned my MY16 6C with 60k on the clock.
The stock clutch was working fine pre-tune but is seriously letting go with the tune.
