How to remove plastic on outside of A pillar T5.1
There is a triangular black plastic trim on the outside of the base of the A pillar. This "matches" with the covering of the base of the door rear view mirror.
I cannot see how this triangular piece is held to the body panel work and need to get it off.
Does...

Under rear plastic panel
Hi All, I've just picked up a Mk7.5 Wagon, there is a plastic panel missing under the rear bumper. Just realised its a tow bar area.
Does anyone have any recommendations for installing one? Is it something I can install DIY?Last edited by yorky; 18-07-2023, 04:41 PM.

Crafter Diesel Lines Damp with Fuel...!
As I near 10k on my new Crafter, I keep a close eye on its mechanical "Coming of Age".
I am noticing a fuel weep on the hard plastic lines that feed into the rather large Aluminium Fuel filter. The main fuel delivery line has a Tee piece on it, just before it enters the cannister....

Plastic AC vent dropped into ducting
I drive a VW Tiguan 2014, and made the common mistake of popping my air-con vent fins off the plastic bar that holds them together. I followed instructions on removing the dashboard trim, but unfortunately the plastic bar has already fallen into the air-con ducting (photos attached, red circled). 2...

Hi all, I have a 2.0 tsi. It was working ok but was getting the intake runner error so swapped out the intake. Now Key fob isn't working and have to open the door using the plastic key. If I use the plastic key no other door unlocks. I had to use the plastic key when entering the car to pop the hood...
