Hey everyone,
Passat R36 owner here; had it for probably 5 years now, and it's only my second non-Honda. Always just had it serviced and looked after by the local rep garage, but now that it's getting a bit longer in the tooth I'm more open to taking care of issues myself. Google searches...

look what I found! (worn brake line)
messing about today I discovered this - the bracket for the air filter has been merrily eating its way through a brake line! it would've been fun to have that pop doing 170kph at the end of the main straight at Winton! or worse, when one of my kids was driving it in traffic... in an excellent planning...

newbie post
Hello,

The next one was a 1983 Green and White Kombi, and it got the...

Do I buy the roof...

Unloved
There’s some really inspirational builds out there on some amazing cars by some really talented people.

Cupra suspension question
I've got H&R springs/shocks all round on the Cupra and they are too stiff for daily driving on the country roads between home and work (Canberra). I do 200ks (and 3 hours driving) per day and by the end of the week my back is sore and my teenage kids whinge like only teenage kids can. Even my MK2...Last edited by sports racer; 05-02-2016, 02:47 PM.

HI everyone, from a self-confessed Diesel lover!
Hey guys, I'm along time lurker so thought I should get on board and join the VW online community properly.
I have had a few 'dubs in the past, a 103tdi Tiguan, 125tdi Passat highline. Oh, and a stock standard '96 Passat 2.0 petrol (when I lived in Germany) that managed 200km/h on the autobahn...

Am currently getting around in a VE Commodore wagon, but with twins on the way (to add to the wife and two existing kids), I am planning to get a Multivan in the weeks ahead. Hoping to receive (and give?) helpful advice on this forum. I've lurked here on and off whilst researching VW stuff and coming...Last edited by Philbert; 13-09-2015, 11:12 PM.
