Hello,
My intro to VW was in 1977 when mum and dad (who had 6 kids) bought a Kalahari Tan and White Kombi. It was the best when pretty much nobody had vans back then. The only way to take 6 kids to the drive in.
The next one was a 1983 Green and White Kombi, and it got the same treatment as the first one, seats out......... motorbikes in.
My wife and I had a 2008 T5 transporter with 3 rear seats which we sold to my daughter who now has her own kids.
We have a 2015 T5 Auto, long wheel base Transporter 4 Motion with rear seats. Seats out............. mountain bikes in.
Not much has changed.
