Just in case you guys didnt know, since IOS 12, you can now use Google Maps on your Tiguan via Apple Carplay.

The only downside is, it seem to crash a bit - well, at least mine does.

Had an issue with my head unit and Apple Carplay recently. When making calls it sounded like I was talking underwater (well that's how my wife described it).

Dropped past VW dealership today to see if there was some way to reset the head unit and they informed me there was an incompatibility...

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with their bluetooth when using an iPhone updated to iOS 10.x?

My phone will pair OK, and audio playback of Bluetooth music and apps (podcasts etc) is fine in Bluetooth Stereo, but it will randomly disconnect...

After i updated to the latest IOS software on my iphone, i stopped being able to play music through my sterio via a usb cable.
well the music plays but it doesnt display the song and artist name, and when i try to skip a song or anything...

I know that there are people out there that wonder about these things and not all upgrades/firmware/phone combo's have worked in the past...

But in short. iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8 synced up and appears to be working as expected for both calls and streaming music.
