The LH low beam has gone and so booked it at the dealer to have the globe replaced. After waiting for 2 hours they told me that the part was not in stock...

2010 Passat CC with dynamic headlights - single Ds1 globe per light.
high beam is achieved by changing the shrouding around the globe.
So how do I trigger a relay to activate supplementary lights that I’ve fitted ??
Checked the connection at the passenger side light and can’t see...

Is there a stronger than the standard 35 watt xenon globe that can be fitted to the factory Bi Xenon lights? I have done some reading and the only thing I can find is a globe with a higher light temperature which is of no interest.

So I changed the low beam (H7) globes on my 103TDI and found the connection wasn't quite making good contact and had to use some masking tape to pull the globe housing (not sure of the proper name?) to one side to make proper contact and get the light to work.
