Hi, so always had this problem of fuel level never reading full. Even filled up to the brim but level never went up to full. So I had recently cleaned out the main tank and the pump and thought it might have improved but this didn't work out.
So used the vcds and did an instrument cluster...

P1108 - 35-10 - Performance too Low - Intermittent

Roadtrip! (or Do my guts look nice on this?)
I’ve always wondered where all the Superbs hide and now I know. They all hide in Canberra.
From the minute I got there, to the trip home, I just kept seeing them. One short trip near the botanical gardens netted three specimens. I even pulled up at some lights behind one. All of them were the...

Fuel Consumption - What do YOU get?
I have had many issues with my 118TSI engine and gearbox over the time that I have had it, the latest being a replacement of the turbo.
Since that time I had noticed that I was filling up more often than I was previously, so I decided to reset the trip computer and monitor the fuel usage...

MKIV Golf 2.0 Sport chewing through fuel
Hi,
I have a MKIV Golf 2.0 Sport and have no end of trouble with excess fuel consumption. At idle when running normally it uses around 1.0L per hour. At the moment it is using anywhere between 2-3L per hour and you can smell the fuel coming out the exhaust. Idle is rough also.

GTI highway fuel consumption. A roof box, a hill and cruise control
I had to visit Canberra last friday and today for work, and my golly gosh what a boring drive it is. So to keep me entertained aside from listening to music I have done some unscientific statistical analysis of my journies.
GTi Mk5 is stock 6-speed manual with 20k on the odo.

The MK6 Fuel Consumption (Most / Least per Tank) Thread
I have read conflicting info regarding the fuel consumption of the 118TSI. The brochure and website say the 6 spd man gets (combined) 6.5 L/100km and the 7 spd DSG gets (combined) 6.2 L/100km. However, many reviews I have read have it the other way around. So, which is correct? I know most auto...
