Information being sought is not available. Query based upon misinformed opinion. I was suffering some form of delusion when i made the post. I have realised, by reference to data pertaining to the vehicle build & earlier photos that the mirrors did not FOLD

So someone knocked my side view mirror & broke it. I was thinking of maybe installing some power folding mirrors so it doesn't happen again. I've looked high & low but haven't seen anything more than a "yea I did it" or conflicting information. Has anyone here down such before?

If your PQ platform (Golf 5/6, Passat B6/B7, Tiguan etc) car has folding mirrors that you normally control from the mirror controls, AND you have Gen4 door controllers, read on...the adaptation channel changes that work with LHD cars as most know do not work for those of us driving...

Apologies if this has be covered to death but I haven't been able to find any results.

3 weeks down and another 20 or so weeks to go.

After finalising the order for my RS I discovered the automatic folding mirrors in the comfort pack which I didn't...

After some loser smashed off one of my T5's mirrors, I got quoted a replacement from VW adding up to ~$700++: $275 for the new base + $200 for new mirror + $200 labour for install (it takes < 5 minutes all up ??) + new mirror cover and painting (if required) ranging from $50-150.
